Man turned himself in to (RRS) after he allegedly killed his wife

Barely five days after he allegedly killed his wife, Lekan Shonde, a dockworker, this Monday turned himself in to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command.

Lekan had on Thursday night allegedly killed his wife, Ronke, a mother of two, after an altercation bordering on allegations of infidelity on the woman’s part.

 Although he escaped to unknown parts, he was still in touch with some friends , who finally convinced him to turn himself to the police for investigations to begin.

It would be recalled that the state police command had on Sunday declared him wanted.

The suspect who was dressed in a blue shirt and black trousers, was seen walking about the command barefoot in the company of his lawyer.

Although he dsclined to speak with the press, he was heard insisting that he was innocent, just as he insisted that his wife did cheat on him and confessed to same.
