The year 1997 brought most of the ever green songs we are enjoying in this up till now. The true fact is that 1997 is the most underrated year in music HISTORY and 1997 is the year that had it best in the music industry, before EDM, tropical house and Macklemore, 1997 was the year that people truly enjoy great music.
We can talk about 1999, 2004, and even 2007…but the hitz of this years can’t compare to the great hitz of 1997.

before that basic-ass “Happy” song by Pharrell, Sheryl Crow had the ORIGINAL song about happiness, “If It Makes You Happy.”

Third Eye Blind’s
“Semi-Charmed Life,” En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go,” Erykah Badu’s “On &
On,” and Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” all topped the charts in 1997.
