Osaze renews contract

Stoke striker Osaze Odemwingie has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Britannia Stadium until the end of the 2015-16 season. Sky Sports reports.

The Nigeria international’s contract also has the option of a further 12 months.

Odemwingie, who joined the Potters in January 2014, recovered from a serious knee injury which sidelined him for eight months to return to action in April.

“We’re delighted that Peter has extended his stay with us at the club until the summer of 2016,” said chief executive Tony Scholes.
