Presidency denies appointment of Col. Ali as Buhari’s Chief of Staff

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu has denied knowledge of the appointment of a former military administrator of Kaduna state, Col. Hamidu Ali (rtd.) as the President’s Chief of Staff.

The social media was earlier on Monday awash with reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had appointed the retired Colonel as his Chief of Staff. The report came on the same day speculations were rife that the President would not be forming his cabinet until two months from now.
