United to bid £18m for Pedro this week'

The Express says United will firm up their interest in the 27-year-old with an £18m bid this week.

Pedro has a £22m release clause in his contract which, let's face it, Manchester United are extremely likely to pay.

Pedro would seem a natural replacement for the boy Angel Di Maria, who looks quite likely to leave Old Trafford.

On the De Gea side of things, as rumoured yesterday, Jasper Cillessen of Ajax is a target for United in the event that their Spanish keeper leaves.
